How to setup Car PowerSleep apk for android
- For Android 4.0 or higher:Please to Settings, look down to Security, and select Unknown sources. Choosing this choice will enable to install apps download from the internet.
- For devices running on lower Android 4.0:
Please go to Settings - open the Applications option, and select Unknown sources, click OK on the popup alert.
Car PowerSleep Details
Use your tablet as you car's navigation/sound/entertainment system.The app detects when car turns on/off.
Use your own design if you wish as app's background to make it look as you want e.g. your car's brand logo.
When power is connected, the app will turn the screen on and shut down the airplane mode from the device. Also, it will set the screen not to shut down before car's ignition has been turned off.
When power is disconnected, the app will turn off the screen and put the device on airplane mode to save battery.
Other apps that I have tried don't put the device to airplane mode and thus the tablet was draining the battery completely. Especially in 3G tablets you need to put the device on airplane mode or phone calls and SMS messages will wake up your device. With other apps I had this problem that I left the car and when I came back I saw tablet is ON and ringing. Also they were crashing all the time.
NOTE: To turn on Airplane mode on/off requires your tablet/phone to be rooted.
With this app you can actually mount the tabled inside car's center console. You cannot reach the power button then so then this app is a must to have.
